Australian Government Schools
There are three main types of schooling available in Australia these include Government or public schools, Private or usually Christian or catholic run schools, and Independent schools which are run privately with little or no Government assistance.
Government Schools are funded by the Australian Government. This is usually the more affordable option of schooling, with lower school fee's and lesser uniform and extra curricular requirements. You will find there will be alot of Public Primary Schools and usually a main High School in each council area or shire.
Government Schooling is the most popular option for Australians, they provide the usual class subjects and offer the same class options for those interested in either looking for a job after school, finishing school and going to TAFE, or for those wishing to go to University once completing Year 12.
An increasingly popular and affordable option for many High School students.
