Australian Private Schools

Australian Private Schools are usually run through a community or religious sector, most of them being either Christian or Catholic Schools and being partly independent as well as being partly provided for through the Australian Government. Being one of three main types of schooling in Australia. There is public or government schooling which is funded by the Australian Government, Private schools which we are talking about now and Independent Schools which are self funded with little or no Government Assistance.

Private Schools are a mid way between Public and Independent Schools, being more expensive then Government Schooling and less expensive then the Independent Schools. Many parents send their children to Private Schools if they have a more religious back ground, but many also because they offer more in the way of subject choices and extra curricular activities then public schools but aren't quite as expensive and exclusive then the independent schools.

Private Schools are a very popular choice and you will see more and more of them popping up all over Australia as there becomes a bigger demand for a more affordable school offering more options.
